Oh man, I overlooked this picture when I did my winter camp post and had to add it now. It's one of my favorites! Steven Burleson had magic marker on his face like a football player and Trenton was obsessed with it. He kept looking at it and then tried to touch it and Steven backed up and said, don't smear it. Later that day, Trenton happened upon a blue and a purple crayola marker and instantly ran up to me with them and asked me, in his limited vocabulary, to give him the same marks. He was so proud of them and kept looking in the mirror when I'd take him the the bathroom. He loved showing them off to the students and, like Steven, he'd tell them "don't touch" but they weren't even close!! It gave him so much joy and gave us a good laugh.
