A Blogger Game

Tag you're it. Here are the rules:

1. Link to the person’s blog who tagged you. (I was tagged by Kristal Sawyer and her link is to the right.)

2. Post these rules on your blog.

3. List seven random and/or weird facts about yourself.

4. Tag seven random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.

5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by posting a comment on their blog.

The only problem is I don't have seven friends to tag who haven't done this already! So, instead you guys are just going to get seven random facts about me for the heck of it and hopefully Kristal's other friends will keep it going :-)

1) I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas! Everything about it: celebrating Jesus' birth, decorating the house with lights and a tree with ornaments from mine and Landon's childhood, singing carols, listening to Christmas songs on the radio, the candle lit service on Christmad Eve, shopping for presents for family, cold weather (usually!), Starbucks gingerbread latte, Christmas cards and pictures from friends and family, the Nutcracker, and my mom's mini ham and cheese puffs that we only get on Christmas morning (this will be the first year I actually spend Christmas morning with my family in 4 years because Landon has had to work them all! Yea for time off work!!)

2) I didn't like mustard until I got pregnant with Trenton.

3) I used to collect keychains and owned almost 200 from all over the US and from about 15 different countries.

4) I am deathly afraid of scorpions. Once, I stepped on a tiny one in the guest bath (somehow it didn't sting me!) and I screamed so horrendously, Landon thought something awful had happened to Trenton and Trenton, who was sleeping, started crying because he woke with such a start. I can't look at them even in pictures or I'll have a nightmare. I'm probably going to have one tonight now that I wrote this!!

5) If I could be any occupation without it affecting my family life, I would be a dolphin trainer at Sea World. Landon doesn't like taking me there anymore because I always whine about wanting to become one. Did you know, you don't even need a major in oceanography, but rather psychology because you're involved in behavioral training?! I could do a psychology major :-)

6) I know it sounds cliche' but my sister really is my best friend. I can tell her anything, even though she's younger. She's very mature for her age and so understanding. I envy her sociable nature and sense of humor. I miss her every day!

7) My 4th wedding anniversary is in 11 days on December 29th. I wanted to be married near Christmas (see #1), but we picked that exact date because Landon's parents and my maternal grandparents were married on that same date! Family and heritage and tradition are all very important to me, so this date was the perfect choice. And Landon is the perfect husband for me. He makes me laugh and not take life too seriously and he's ALWAYS the first one to say sorry when we fight. That is an amazing quality that I wish I could say I had too!

Probably more than you ever wanted to know!!
