Well, I thought I better get on here and post so no one can accuse me of going an entire month without an update =)
Everyone who reads this knows our lives right now, I'm sure, but I'm going to tell it anyway. This is my excuse for ignoring my blog: I am working 27 hours a week, which means 3-4 times a week, I get up at 3am. When I get home, Landon either leaves for work or school almost immediately. Landon is working his usual 55 hours a week, plus every Monday he is gone from 10am to 8pm driving to Flagstaff for his Religious Studies Senior capstone. Since he is not in the office on Monday, he makes up the hours on Friday, which means he doesn't have one day off. In addition to this class, he is taking another Islam class online. Between the two, he has about 400 pages of reading a week. Thus, when he is not at work or in Flagstaff, he is doing homework. Let me just say, I am not complaining because this is what we have chosen and it is only one semester. In the spring, he will take two more classes, but online or at ASU. Then he will graduate in May!! Woo hoo!! I really am proud of him for biting the bullet and getting this done with a full time job and two kids and a wife to take care of.

So, this proves why our life is hectic right now, but it doesn't really explain why I can't take ten minutes to write on a blog during the 2-3 mornings a week that I don't have church or work. The answer to that is purposefully vague and I'm sorry. I'm working on a "project" of sorts right now and it is consuming any and all of my free time. If anything comes of it, then I'll be able to explain. And if nothing comes of it, then I won't be embarrassed by my attempt since no one will know ;-)
Enough of that, let's talk about the boys.
Trenton turns three in twelve days and we are excited for his Thomas the train party this Friday. Right now he is obsessed with Harry Potter (thanks to dad who let him watch it while I was at work!) His favorite is Chamber of Secrets with the spiders and the big snake. He watches it wide eyed and then comes and tells me "mom, it's scawy" with his arms huddled up by his chin. So far there haven't been any nightmares, so maybe I'm just being overprotective, which has been known to happen =) His other favorite phrase right now is "Mom, you hear that?" said in a whisper. "What Trenton?" "Dinosaurs are coming. They're going to break a the house." I love seeing his imagination at work. Now that the weather is better, he is back playing outside too. He'll be out there for hours on end and buck naked the whole time.
Sawyer is 14 months and still just as social and playful as ever. He follows his brother around anxious to be a part of anything Trenton wants to do. Most of the time this means he gets body slammed or his toys taken right out of his hands, but he's a good sport and keeps trucking along. He has almost his full mouth of teeth and has learned to kiss. It's adorable, but you never know if it's going to be a fish pucker or a wide mouth when you lean in to receive it! He has followed in Trenton's footsteps and loves cars; already he makes a putt putt sound while driving them around on the floor. He is still an amazing sleeper, taking two naps a day and sleeping 8 to 8 at night.
To wrap it all up, here are a few random pictures I had on my camera since I last posted ...
They love to play in the clothes when I fold laundry; I just don't understand why they gravitate to the underwear!
Smile and pose.
Now look intimidating! haha

And here's the pictures that says it all - where one is playing, the other will soon follow.
