Summertime!

What is summer if not the season for playing outside, finding new activities, spending time with family, and staying off the computer?? ;-) Here's what's been keeping us busy since I last blogged ...

I found a random little hole-in-the-wall place called "Toy Town" on the website Groupon and got an amazing deal so we've spent a few days there. It's a good place for the boys to be creative and play out of the heat.

We've spent A LOT of time swimming. Last summer, the boys were scared of the water so we were limited to the community pool that has a baby area that's only 2 feet deep. This summer they're jumping off diving boards, dunking, and Trenton can even swim from Landon to the step under water! I'm having so much more fun getting in the water with them now.

For his birthday, Landon got two tickets to the Dbacks and took Trenton. That's all Trenton could talk about for days! He got a free Mark Reynolds "shirt" that looks like a dress, a Baxter the Bobcat card, and a lunch of popcorn and a pretzel. What's not to love?

And of course, we've enjoyed watching "baby Kellen face" grow up and delight us with his chatter and his expressions. My next post will be all about him because as the third child, he needs some things that are just about him!
