Summer 2012

I can tell the kids are getting older because now instead of documenting every moment as we go along, I try to cram an entire summer in one post! My last entry was Trenton's graduation and now it's the night before I send him off to 1st grade and Sawyer off to preschool. I am not ready to say goodbye to summer.

We did Tball and cheered loud and proud, even if he played for the Yankees.

Sawyer and Kellen used the time to bond.

We did a 25 hour road trip to Arizona, where we spent most of our time in the water.

And Uncle Chris made sure the boys were protected from the intense sun.

Of course, on the way home it took 26 hours because we had to stop at the Glen Canyon Dam and the Continental Divide for Social Studies Teacher Dad.

We did tubing, boating, and swimming ... as soon as Coeur d' Alene got warm enough.

We did swim lessons.

We did Sawyer's 5th Birthday.

And then he fell asleep with his best friend, worn out from all the partying,

while his younger brother was still wide awake, playing with his new toys!

We did Legos, the newest obsession.

We did Superheroes and Transformers.

And to end the summer, we did the fair, my favorite Coeur d' Alene tradition. This year, Kellen was old enough to ride some of the rides, which made it even better.

We did fun, busy, crazy, loud ... and now without a breath, we're on to the next adventure.
