Kindergarten Graduation

I have some great pictures from our trip to Arizona, but the anal side of me has to catch up with some old pictures first. These are from Sawyer's Kindergarten Graduation. We grabbed dinner at Le Peep first and Landon (shock!) reminded me to take some group pictures outside on the beautiful deck. I was so happy he thought of it!

Noah's Ark was much smarter this time around and gave each class its own time slot, rather than forcing every parent to watch five classes worth of names like Trenton's year. Our friends Ryan and Brooke have their son at Noah's Ark as well and his ceremony was right before ours. Sawyer and Spencer are best friends and this gave us a chance for a super cute picture.

There he is!

We're so proud of Sawyer. Like his daddy, he was everyone's best friend in class. If he missed a day, he was met with hugs and exclamations of "where were you??" on the next day of school. It was such a joy to watch him develop his own friendships and grow as an individual away from parents and brothers. He knows almost all of his letter sounds before entering Kindergarten, but we can already tell his strength is in mathematical reasoning and computers. It's not surprising because Sawyer has always had his own logic and explanations for puzzles and questions. We'll laugh at a thought of his and then pause as we realize what he's saying totally makes sense in a non-traditional way. He's so different from our firstborn, which only makes our family life way more exciting.
