Winter Doings

I'm going to stop clarifying when I have a "catch up" post because frankly that's ALL I do now! So, here's some of the Anderson doings this winter.

Elliot has solidified her place in this world as a string enthusiast. Once the crawling started, we found her near any shoestring, strap, sweatshirt, lanyard in sight.

It had been at least a year since we went to Mobius Children's Museum, so we packed up with a friend and trekked out to Spokane. Elliot and I lounged in the baby section, while the boys had the run of the place.

Landon took frequent breaks from Masters' homework to play football or baseball in the snow.
They think they're pretty tough.

Thanks to Groupon, our family of six took the Holiday Lights Cruise around Lake Coeur d' Alene, which would have been over $50 full price for 45 minutes. Absurd. For our price, it was a fun family outing. The boys' favorite was the man on the pier, dressed as the Grinch, shaking his fist and flaunting his backside at the boat.

Our eight-year-old bearded shepherd, in his jeans and running shoes,
celebrated the Savior's birth with a sheepish grin.

Elliot turned 7 months old in December, but remains a bald, little peanut. She gnaws on some occasional fruits or veggies, but otherwise still refuses food. Her smile is the light in our family.

Landon and I celebrated our ten year anniversary in December, which coincided with Landon's parents' 40th! We contributed a few pictures to a book to commemorate their milestone and this one was my favorite.

Then, Elliot turned 8 months old January 3rd and I got a few pictures on my phone ... now she's a week away from 9 months and I finally got the camera out!

Plus, I had to share this adorable sequence...
Sawyer was trying to make her smile for me and I caught the best reaction.

Then he asked to be in the picture with her! Brotherly love.

Next up: a visit from a friend, Kellen's birthday, and Spring Break!
