When you have all boys, camping really is the perfect vacation! Trenton and Sawyer didn't care about toys or TV because they were so busy with dirt and water and rocks and sticks, a boys' paradise. They both had camping hats; Trenton's was a hand me down from Uncle Aaron! We were so excited it fit.

The nights got a little chilly, but the boys just cuddled up together by the fire. There was not one complaint on their part the whole week!
Or they just built their own "fire." While the adults sat around the real one, they stacked wood a few feet away and built a pretend fire. It was adorable! They imitated every step of the process, including the water to put it out. Even their conversation while they sat there was so serious and grown up.

By the end of the trip, the boys were right at home. Sawyer even continued his tradition of bringing his dad a beer, this time from the cooler instead of the fridge!
Although there were rough moments, it was a fun time and I definitely see a lot of camping in our future.

if only Landon knew the pain I feel when Marcela (or anyone in her family) puts something Boston on our son...I'd take hypothermia
