The whole family went to Cherry Hill to sled and we had an amazing time! Surprisingly it wasn't bitterly cold outside, even though it continued to snow the entire time we sledded. We'd gone to the same hill three years ago when Trenton was two and he hated it. He went down the hill once with Landon and started crying, so I was excited to see how the boys liked it this year. It was a success; they loved it!
Immediately after sledding down the hill, they would beg someone else to take them up. Everyone got a turn.
I was amazed at how many times they stomped the 100 yards or so UPHILL without tiring. Well, Sawyer did get a few breaks with Uncle Josh when he sat on his shoulders once for the walk up and lay on the sled once to be pulled up!
Besides sledding, we had fun just playing in the snow. Landon, of course, took every opportunity to tackle me or Mimi in the snow. Then the boys would jump in too and make it really crazy.
This was one of those winter experiences that every kid should do and I had so much fun sharing it with my boys.
Trenton is learning that snow isn't ALL fun ... although I think he still enjoyed scraping snow off the car at this age.
