The nightly Bible stories continue and after each one, Landon makes up a key learning for the boys to remember. It's reminiscent of his Sunday morning lessons at Central when he would pick one idea to summarize the entire lesson and he'd repeat it at least 5-7 times. He hoped to help the kids remember the reason for the lesson through repetition and abbreviation. He uses the same tactic for our young boys.
Last night was David and Goliath and for the first time he asked the boys to make up the key learning statement. Wow. Does this showcase the two unique boys God has given us or what?!
Trenton: We don't have to be frightened because God is with us.
Sawyer: When we beat bad guys, we should cut off their faces.
