My Sister

My sister is all grown up! She leaves for college (Unviersity of Idaho) to start her 6 year architecture program tomorrow. Before starting this new adventure, though, she was able to come for a week long visit. In March, my family came while she was on a mission trip in Washington DC so this was her chance to see our house and spend quality time with our family. It was an unbelievable week! She is one of the most amazing people I know. She is so social and funny that she's a joy to be around and gives everyone a smile who knows her. Plus, she adores her nephews and is willing to do anything for them -- including changing diapers. She bought them toys, clothes, and treats at every chance! I now know what it's like to be rich and have a nanny around 24-7 to help =) Plus, we had so many good conversations about college, marriage and relationships, kids, our family growing up, and even fun things like food and shopping. I had a hard time saying goodbye, especially since we aren't sure the next time we'll see eachother. So Caitlyn, let me just say you are a blessing to me as a sister, as an aunt to my boys, and as a friend. I love you and can't wait to see how you grow and become an adult in these years ahead.

And now for the pictures!!

An afternoon at San Tan Mall - playing in the water and on the riding toys
Aunt Caitlyn is nicer than mommy and keeps quarters in her purse for occasions like this!

A Morning at BounceU
It was our first time and we loved it! For $9, we got two full hours on the bouncy toys and a snack. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday morning they have "Preschool Playdate" for kids seven and under. Adults and infants are free. It was not crowded at all either, so I didn't have to worry about where the boys were at all times or about them getting run over =)

Sawyer wasn't too sure at first about crawling around on such an unstable surface!

Our favorites were the slides. In this first picture, I was trying to get a picture of Caitlyn and Sawyer when all of a sudden Trenton came flying down right as the flash went off. What a funny action shot!

The rest of the week involved relaxing at home together, shopping, and meeting up with friends.
Then it was time to say goodbye =(
