Love

Typical day: I have a million things to do. The bedrooms are a mess. I have to plan what's for dinner. All the boys are growing out of their clothes so I have to reorganize - you know, pull the next size clothes from their individual tubs only to fill all the newly acquired space immediately with the next round of clothes. Trenton's clothes go in Sawyer's tub, Sawyer's clothes go in Kellen's tub, Kellen's clothes go in baby tub (I'm holding out even if Landon says we're done!) Whew! I've been avoiding this for a couple weeks because it's such a process and I get so easily confused when surrounded by boy clothes ranging from 12 months to 5T!
Instead of starting this to do list, though, I am sitting down to blog for a quick minute. Last night when I got home from work, I was greeted by one of the most precious gifts of my twenty seven years.

Trenton loves writing even more since starting school. He can look at an ad for some company, walk away, and reproduce the exact letters he just saw without even knowing what word he's writing! Last night he told Landon he wanted to write "I love you mom and dad but with your names." So, Landon listed each letter in order and without help he wrote the above note. I can't describe the mix of pride and joy I felt; such an experience can only be understood by those parents who have gone before me.
