Matching Outfits

Sawyer is 6 months today! Wow - half way through his first year of life. We had his appointment this morning and he had four shots, yet he still smiled plenty for the camera! I've had these outfits for awhile (they were supposed to be for our family Christmas picture - we can see how well that worked out!) Today I finally decided to dress them up and TRY to get a picture of the two together. Trenton no longer sits or smiles for pictures, so I had to put him on a high stool so he wouldn't escape! And the picture that he is smiling so perfectly in . . . yeah he's actually saying three ;-) Then Sawyer did pretty well propped up against a pillow, although you can see him starting to fall in one of the pictures. It was an adventure. I took 25 pictures!! I didn't really get one of the two together that's worthy of blowing up for the wall, but there are some cute ones nonetheless. Of course, the best shot of the night was the only one not staged. Sawyer was laying on the floor on his belly propped up on his hands and Trenton went and laid down right next to him on his belly and put his arm around Sawyer's shoulders. It was such a precious moment. I ran madly to grab the camera, got in front of them, pushed the button, and . . . nothing. It was adjusting to the dark living room and took ten seconds to flash. By then, Trenton had moved on. Oh well, I got to see it in person and I can surely say he loves his brother!
